Post-xmas vinyl (and tape) arrivals in the house!
Vinyl Digital comes correct with two brand new instrumental releases on their own label: producer Mujo情 is the latest entrant in their EXPEDITion 100-series with his album »Tengoku« which is a collection of heavenly lo-hop productions. More dope jazz-tangled lo-fi productions by Wilczynski x Damaa with »Beats with Brothers Vol. 3« on a handy 7″.
The next two 45s come a long way from Virginia/US from my friends of Boogieburg and their latest releases: Backbeat Underground with a heavy soulful scorcher which is called »She Don’t Love Me (Like I Do)« and including musicians from Thievery Corporation, See-I and many more! Kind & Kinky Zoo from Switzerland drop a fiery special blend of raw jazz & funk rock!
Soul Dynamite from Bulgaria present their 10th release on a shiny 45 with a classic joint by Marc Hype (Dusty Donuts) and Jim Dunloop and their seminal hot classic cover version of Babe Ruth’s B-Boy essential »The Mexican« plus featuring Mr. Complex on the flip!
Last but not least some cross-media shouts go out to Styler Berg who sent me a golden colored highly limited tape of their latest release by Repeter t & The Loopmasters including freshest beats and instrumentals in a jazzy Boom-Bap-style! I’m not sure how to get this burner on my Technics but there will be a way for sure.
Thanks to y’all for sending me these beauties and be sure to hear them in my soon coming first edition of »Oonops Drops« in 2021 on Brooklyn Radio with top-class guests (as usual)!Peeeeace! ♡ ♡ ♡
