The weekend can come with these tight vinyl arrivals!

Soundweight Records drops another sureshot 45 with Jorun Bombay in the perfect edit mode. If you love slick raps and funky vibes, this is yours! I’m honored to hold one of the rare hand-drawn promo copies in my hands which are made by label head Kista himself. Big ups!

Furthermore new testpressings from finest reissue label WEWANTSOUNDS rolled in: the first one is a classic by Billy Brooks and its called »Windows Of The Minds« including the legendary A Tribe Called Quest sample for »Luck Of Lucien«. Head over to HHV to get the limited ultra clear vinyl. The next one is Ryuichi Sakamoto’s third solo album »Hidari Ude No Yume« from 1981 which gets the first time released outside of Japan in the album’s original Japanese edition including the instrumentals. These are two amazing albums that must be heard! If you’re interested about some background information about the label and their influences, then head over to my latest episode of »Wax‘ Talk« with label head Matt Robin in a little creative talk: http://www.mixcloud.com/…/oonops-drops-wax-talk-episode-2

Last but not least I’ve reveived a message by Richard Walley from New Zealand who send me a promo copy of his band The Sixteenth and their new album »The 16th« with beautiful cinematic soundscapes.

Thanks to y’all and be sure to hear them in my next shows on Brooklyn Radio!

Peace and love!
