Hood morning, KingUnderground is back with two brand new releases of pure dopeness: the first one is a reissue of CRAC’s „All For You“ and it is full of jazzy soul, uptempo funk and much more but have a listen to this gem on your own! The second one is the cinematic RnB & jazz-inflected debut by Dominique Fils-Aimé which is available for the first time on vinyl.
The next project which is called Hiphop Kitchen Stuttgart is something special and the name says it all: you’ll get a three-course meal including interaction by live DJs, rap artists and beatmaker plus moderation through hip hop history or guessing music samples, live-painting by graffiti-artists, photo-exhibitions and lots more. Now they’ve released their first vinyl compilation of beatmakers who visited them since zero hour like Figub Brazlevič, Kill Emil, DJ STYLEWARZ, Hydrogenii and many more. Another amazing food concept in this direction is The Hip Hop Chip Shop, check this too if you’re around in Manchester!
Last but not least two 45s arrived as well. First one is by Soopasoul (UK) and it’s a brilliant rework of the all time disco classic „We Are Family“. On the flip he’s adding a classic old school hip-hop acappella to an expertly cut-up version of the track. The other 45 is straight from Sweden and Desmond Foster’s debut on Soul Tune Records with two killer soul tunes. Have an eye on this when it hits the street in the end of November!
Thanks to y’all for these dope records and be sure to hear these nuggets in my next show(s) on Brooklyn Radio! Have a lovely weekend!
